Prasol Chemicals is also a Government of India-certified 3 Star Export House and has a distribution network spread across 68 countries and 6 continents, including Asia Pacific, North & South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company has a wide product portfolio of over 150 speciality chemicals as of June 30, 2026. This includes 21 acetone-based speciality chemicals, 53 phosphorus-based speciality chemicals and 76 other speciality products. The latter includes non-acetone and non-phosphorus-based customised products such as surfactants, performance additives, ethers, esters, polymers and acids. It caters to five key application industries: performance chemicals, PICA (paints, inks, construction and adhesives), pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and home and personal care. Its performance chemicals portfolio includes products used in applications such as lubricant additives and mining chemicals. Acetone-based speciality chemicals continued to be the largest contributors to revenue in FY26, contributing 526.89 crore or 42.75% of revenue. Speciality chemicals based on Phosphorus contributed ₹472.03 crore or 38.30%, and other speciality chemicals contributed ₹225.90 crore or 18.33%. Domestic business continues to make up the bigger portion of revenue with ₹896.21 crore or 72.71% contribution to revenue, and exports were ₹336.38 crore or 27.29% in FY26. Prasol Chemicals served 1,618 customers in FY26, up from 1,586 customers in FY25. Repeat customers contributed ₹1,149.78 crore or 93.28% of revenue in FY26, while new customers contributed ₹82.82 crore or 6.72%. The company has long-standing relationships with several marquee customers, including Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, Auchtel Products Limited, Bharat Rasayan Limited, Carl Bechem Lubricants (India) Private Limited, Clean Science and Technology Limited, Croda India Company Private Limited and Coromandel International Limited, among others. The company operates two manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra – Khopoli and Mahad. The Khopoli manufacturing facility was established in 1995 and covers an area of 120,604 square meters. It had an installed capacity of 78,784 MTPA as of 31 March 2026. The Mahad manufacturing facility began operations in the year 2020 with an area of 119,423 sq. meters and an installed capacity of 19,860 MTPA. Together, the two facilities have an aggregate installed capacity of 98,644 metric tonnes per annum. The Khopoli facility operated at 80.29% capacity utilisation in FY26, producing 63,256 MT, compared with 68.60% utilisation in FY25. Mahad operated at 44.09% capacity utilisation in FY26 and produced 8,756 MT, compared with 25.18% utilisation in FY25. The global chemicals industry is projected to grow to $6.5 lakh crore by CY2026 and is further projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.3% to $7.8 lakh crore by CY 2029. The speciality chemicals industry is known for its customised and application-specific functionality and is expected to have 21 to 23% market share of the global chemicals industry by CY 2029. By 2025, the average daily wage in China has risen from $9.8 to 10.0, making its manufacturing more expensive, while the labour cost in India is still much lower at $2.27 per day. In the domestic market for acetone speciality chemicals, there is limited competition due to the presence of a few acetone speciality chemicals manufacturers. The company was the largest importer of acetone in India for calendar years 2023-2025 for manufacturing the most diversified range of acetone-based speciality chemicals in India. The company was a sole manufacturer of Isophorone in India and therefore had a monopoly position in that product. The company was one of the top five users of yellow phosphorus in India to manufacture phosphorus-based speciality chemicals in the calendar years 2022-2025. This monopolistic position in isophorone production and dominant position in acetone imports provides significant competitive advantage and pricing power. The company has further land available for future expansion, including 30,110 sqm at Dheku, 34,423 sqm at land parcel Mahad and 40,000 sqm at land parcel Mahad. This provides the company with additional headroom to scale up manufacturing capacity over the longer term. Now, Prasol Chemicals is launching its initial public offering (IPO), which consists of a fresh issue of ₹80 crore and an offer for sale of ₹420 crore. The total issue size of the IPO is ₹500 crore. Its shares will be listed on the NSE and BSE. ### **How to apply for Prasol Chemicals IPO?** If you are interested in this investment opportunity but unsure how to apply for Prasol Chemicals IPO, follow these steps.
