Box size = market cap · color = intraday % change.
A market heatmap gives you the whole NSE / Nifty 50 in one glance. Each tile is a stock, sized by market capitalisation and coloured by today's price change — deep green for strong gainers, dark red for sharp fallers, faint shades for stocks near flat. Use it to spot sector rotation (all IT tiles red while Metals are green), gauge overall breadth (mostly green = risk-on session), and drill into the largest weightage stocks that move the index.

A table lists top movers by rank. A heatmap shows every stock at once, so a small stock jumping 15% doesn't overshadow a Reliance moving 1% — because Reliance's tile is 100× larger. It surfaces where the actual index points come from.
Nifty 50 is a market-cap weighted index — a 1% move in HDFC Bank matters more than a 5% move in a small constituent. Sizing tiles by market cap makes the visual accurately reflect index impact.
When money exits one sector (say IT) and flows into another (say Metals) on the same day, it shows as a red IT block next to a green Metals block. Recurring rotation patterns often precede longer-term sector leadership changes.
Prices refresh every 15 seconds during market hours (9:15–15:30 IST). Outside market hours the heatmap reflects the last close.
